The Company Overview

West Biofuels, LLC was formed in 2007 by financier Peter T. Paul, President of Headlands Asset Management, LLC. Brilliant minds were assembled to improve the biomass concept and elevate it to a place of true sustainability by partnering with the University of California and the U.S. Department of Energy. West Biofuels has successfully built a 250 KW demonstration biomass power plant in Woodland, California which efficiently converts biomass into a far cleaner version of synthesis gas or syngas than is currently being produced by conventional biomass plants. West Biofuels is excited about the impact that scaled versions of this new generation of biomass plants is making as municipalities and corporations can now become energy independent on their own – setting the pace for the rest of the world.

West Biofuels is always forward thinking and is further developing the technology to process this new syngas into a number of different liquid biofuels.
